Initial registration of vehicles available for legal entities online
On e-Gov Portal, the service was modified for initial registration of vehicles acquired from official dealers on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Now, the service can be obtained by legal entities online.
“The modification was made just when it was needed. Previously, the service was only available to individuals whereas at the moment it is also available for legal entities and it facilitates the process of the service delivery. By using the portal, citizens don`t have to visit relevant organizations and save quite a lot of time”commented Asset Turyssov, Chairman of the Board, NIT JSC.
When making a deal to sell a vehicle, a dealer`s representative should submit a request for vehicle registration on eGov.kz portal. During submission of a request, a dealer`s representative should indicate technical specification on a vehicle, enclose the required documents and indicate BIN. Afterwards, a request is signed with digital signature and sent to a buyer`s personal account.
A buyer needs to familiarize with a request in a personal account, select a registration plate for a vehicle, pay for stamp duty and registration fee, enclose a document certifying ownership for a vehicle, power of attorney certifying the authorities of a representative, approve a request and sign it with digital signature.
The service delivery result is a notification sent to a service recipient`s personal account on execution of request or substantiated refusal.
It should be noted that vehicles manufactured in the Republic of Kazakhstan and that don`t have customs clearance are not covered by the service following the requirement of the service owner, which is Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
