Participants of the IOAI 2026 (International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence), held in Astana, perform competitive tasks on the National Alem.Cloud supercomputer platform. With the support of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC provided participants with access to high-performance infrastructure by acting as a technological partner of the Olympiad.

The Alem.Cloud computing capabilities are used to solve problems in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analysis. Participants train and test models, develop algorithms, and test their solutions on an infrastructure designed for resource-intensive computing.

The IOAI 2026 event brings together around 500 schoolchildren from 106 different countries and territories. Working on the national supercomputer platform enables participants to solve problems in an environment similar to that of modern AI projects and familiarizes them with the practical requirements of high-performance computing.

For NIT JSC, this is a technological partnership that also contributes to the development of young talent, future specialists, and international cooperation in artificial intelligence", said Daulet Bekmanov, Chairman of the Board, NIT JSC.

The technological partnership of NIT JSC has become part of the infrastructural support of the competition. The use of Alem.Cloud demonstrates the readiness of Kazakhstan's computing infrastructure to support international-level educational and technological projects.

The Olympiad is taking place in Astana under the auspices of UNESCO, and will end on August 8. The program includes individual and team competitions, educational events and meetings with representatives of the international technological community.
