Kazakhstani citizens staying abroad can call 1414 free-of-charge
Kazakhstani citizens staying abroad can call to the Integrated Call Center (1414) via online audio call.
To call 1414 free-of-charge, a user needs to open egov.kz portal and in the lower right corner click “Virtual Consultant” widget. In pop-up window, click the icon represented by headphones and make a call.
To contact an operator via virtual consultant, one needs to have a microphone and headphones.
“We often received requests from citizens staying in other countries to provide the capability of contacting the call center operators via the Internet so that people won`t have to spend money on voice calls via mobile operator. Todate, thecapabilityhasbeenimplemented. If a person has the Internet, he/she can contact an operator of 1414 and receive answers to any questions. Also, when speaking with a consultant there is a capability available to enclose and send files of any format in the size no more than 20 megabytes” told Asset Turyssov, Chairman of the Board, “NIT” JSC.
It should be noted that the Call Center (1414) works from 09:00 AMto 09:00 PMin working days and from 09:00 AMto 02.00 PM in Saturdays, Sundays is weekend. During the emergency situation, over 366 thousand Kazakhstani citizens have been registered in the Mobile Citizens Database.
Within the emergency situation period, over 2000 employees of CSC have been engaged in the Call Center operation, communication channels and telephony capacity has been extended. Moreover, about 1000 CSC employees take video calls from citizens, who apply to receive consultations, also, the employees perform identity identifications for registration in Mobile Citizens Database and issue digital signatures online.
