The number of e-Government portal users reached 6 million

The number of the registered e-Government portal users in Kazakhstan has reached 6 million. Raissa Tyan, 68 years of age, living in Astana became the 6 millionth user.

She was handed the relevant certificate and a memorial gift. As it was found out, she obtained her digital signature and signed on in eGov.kz deliberately, so that to get public services and certificates/abstracts in the future without leaving home.

It should be noted that to date, 760 e-services have been implemented through the e-Government infrastructure.

Such services are popular now as the abstract of title to real estate (about 5 million in 2016), as well as of non-ownership/ownership of such real estate (over 4 million); abstract of pension deductions (about 3 million), and certificate of no criminal record (2.2 million).

For the entire period of the portal operation, over 164.4 million e-services have been rendered to citizens already.

Kazakhstan citizens are actively using the capability of online payments. Within the last year, the transactions for the sum of over KZT 14 million were effected via the egov payment gateway, of which about 11 million were paid as traffic infraction fines.

Digital signature required for obtainment of many services online was issued 3.7 million times, while in January-February this year – over 984thousand times already.

Note that Kazakhstan currently occupies the 33rd position in the Global UN’s e-Government Rating.
