Smart Data Ukimet recognized as best project of the year at the Global CIO International Contest

The Smart Data Ukimet system, developed for complex data analysis, won the title of Project of the Year at the Global CIO International contest in the Best Analytics and Big Data nomination.

The annual Project of the Year contest, organized by the Global CIO professional IT community, was launched in September 2024. The contest has become a major event in the IT sector, bringing together 526 projects from more than 100 countries.

The Smart Data Ukimet project was submitted for the contest and, after two months of voting, was recognized as the best in the Analytics and Big Data category. The system, which is designed to collect, store and analyze data from government information systems, has also attracted the attention of international experts.

Contestants and winners include IT leaders from Central Asia, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Iraq, Armenia, Brazil and the USA.

«This victory is the result of a well-coordinated team effort and confirms that we are moving in the right direction. Smart Data Ukimet is a demonstration of how advanced analytics solutions can improve the efficiency of government processes», said Aibol Bizhanov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Board of National Information Technologies JSC.

Winning this contest confirms the high level of professionalism and innovative approach that the project team has demonstrated in the field of working with big data. Previously, the Smart Data Ukimet project also won the prestigious Future of Government Awards 2023 in the Open Source Adaptation category, among more than 300 projects from 50 countries.
