Previously, the vehicle history check service was available on the e-Government portal. Users of the eGov Mobile application can now access vehicle ownership information directly from their smartphones with just a few clicks. This significantly speeds up the process of obtaining information and helps to minimize risks when purchasing a vehicle.

The service allows you to check complete information about the vehicle, such as the date of initial registration of the car in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the availability of collateral or encumbrances, as well as the total number of previous owners. Meanwhile, the personal details of previous owners remain confidential.

To use the service, all you need to do is enter your vehicle's registration number and license plate number in the application. The user is then presented with detailed information about the vehicle, including make, year of manufacture, engine capacity, body colour and availability of additional equipment.

To get the service, the user needs to:

• log in to the eGov Mobile app and go to the "Services" - "Transportation and communication" section, select "The history of the car ownership";
• specify the vehicle's license plate number and registration certificate number;
• click "Search" button;
• get detailed information about a vehicle.

The service was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
