It is now possible to get registered at the place of residence without visiting CSC
NIT JSC informs about the launch of the automated service: “Registration of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the place of residence”, which service does not require visiting Citizen Service Center.
The service was launched at the e-Government portal www.egov.kz and has been active since February 25, 2018 for citizens of the RoK.
What does that mean?
Previously, to submit an application for getting registered at the place of residence, a citizen had to fill out the application form signing it with his/her digital signature and then presented it at CSC for his/her new residential address to be recorded on the ID card’s chip and the data to proceed to the database of CDRP (Citizens Documenting and Registration Point) under Ministry of Internal Affairs.
From now on, a user shall not apply to CSC after submitting the application via the egov.kz portal, because data is automatically changed in the SDRP database. User may check the service result within 15 minutes through the online services: “Checking the residential address data (registration data)” or “Obtaining the abstract of residential address”. Currently, these services can be found on the egov.kz in the “Citizens” section– “Nationality, Migration and Immigration”– “Registration and de-registration of citizens”.
