The eGov.kz portal users can get a 073/y medical certificate confirming that the recipient is fit to drive a vehicle. The new service greatly facilitates the process of obtaining, renewing and restoring a driving licence.

The 073/y medical certificate is a document that is compulsory for all the drivers and certifies that there are no contraindications to driving a vehicle.

Previously, citizens received this certificate in paper form after passing a medical examination by four specialists (a therapist, a psychiatrist, an ophthalmologist, and an otolaryngologist). Obtaining a medical certificate on the eGov.kz portal has become easier thanks to the new service. Now, upon completion of a medical examination, the user receives a certificate in electronic format, and the digital document is automatically saved in a single database.

How to get the service online:

• sign in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "Healthcare – Medical care" section;
• select the service "Issuance of a medical certificate in the form No. 073/y";
• sign the request using one of the available signing methods.

As a result of receiving the service, a medical certificate with expert opinions will be available in the user's personal account in PDF format. The certificate is valid for one year from the date of receipt.

The new service was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Information Technologies JSC and Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
