NIT JSC and Astana IT University signed a memorandum on training of IT specialists

National Information Technologies JSC and Astana IT University signed a memorandum on training IT personnel. This agreement will contribute to the development of qualified specialists in the fields of AI, GovTech and information security.

As a result of the signing of the memorandum, NIT JSC and AITU intend to exchange experience in scientific and practical activities. The parties will also develop joint micro-certification programmes in the areas of AI, GovTech, information security and QazTech.

The main condition of the memorandum will be the creation and opening of a laboratory on the basis of AITU for training specialists in AI, GovTech and information security. This will make it possible to develop and implement special courses for AITU students aimed at studying advanced technologies, as well as to improve the industry competences of NIT JSC employees on the basis of the university. As part of the agreement, dual training of students on the basis of AO NIT will also be implemented.

The cooperation will also make it possible to implement MBA programmes in the field of IT/GovTech to improve the qualifications of managers and introduce standards in the IT industry of Kazakhstan. The list of AITU lecturers will include employees of NIT JSC.

It is worth emphasising that AITU has already helped students of 38 universities and colleges to undergo industrial internships within the framework of earlier agreements. The memorandum with AITU is a unique opportunity to develop professional competences within the applied activities of the country's leading IT company. AITU students will be able to complete internships, working with real cases, as part of NIT's team of practitioners, and will also have the opportunity for further employment.
