Following the previously reached agreements, Kazakhstan will provide technical assistance in the development of electronic government of the Republic of Sierra Leone. The transfer of the e-Gov digital components took place through KazAID grant assistance at the Sierra Leone Innovates 2024 Summit in Freetown.

The export of Kazakh IT solutions became possible by a previously signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Communications, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Sierra Leone. As part of the agreement, the Kazakh side transferred the following services: "Showcase of Smart Bridge Services", "Unified Platform of Government Websites" and "Smart Data Ukimet" information and analytical system.

"Kazakhstan has made significant progress in the field of digital governance and the creation of an interoperable digital ecosystem focused on user convenience. Each day, our specialists come up with new ideas and continuously improve existing services, with the needs of society at the forefront. The export of our e–government modules is an indicator of our digital ecosystem viability and the result of work done by local specialists. We are glad to have the opportunity to share our experience and hope that our IT solutions will soon be working effectively in the Republic of Sierra Leone," said Dmitriy Mun, Acting Chairman of the Board, NITEC JSC.

Currently, the Kazakh delegation is assessing the digital maturity of the country's ICT infrastructure for further successful implementation of Kazakh IT solutions. This visit demonstrates a high level of confidence in domestic developments and marks the geographical expansion of the presence of Kazakh digital solutions beyond the continent.

It should be reminded that today Kazakhstan holds high positions in international e-government rankings. According to the United Nations E-Government Survey, our country ranks 28th out of 193 countries in the UN Global E-Government Development Index, and 8th in the Quality of Online Services Index.
