National Information Technologies JSC has signed an agreement on information exchange between the information systems of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the administrator of electronic passport systems determined by the decision of the EEC Council.

The following will be implemented under the agreement:

- Electronic passport exchange;

- Information exchange regarding vehicle registration and availability of any restrictions established by the EAEU law;

- Restriction of access to the Kazakhstan market for car manufacturers or vehicles that do not meet the requirements of the technical regulations, as well as vehicles list as stolen.

It should be noted that the signing of this agreement will make it possible to make the necessary changes to the regulatory legal acts in order to restrict the illegal import of vehicles to Kazakhstan without being in breach of international obligations.
