Reasons for temporary suspension of the e-Government portal
Yesterday, on February 6, the Industry Development Fund launched a concessional auto lending on the autonesie.kz website. Due to the influx of users, a large number of requests were generated for certain services that are protected by a Single Internet Access Gateway (SIAG), which is supported by State Technical Service JSC.
SIAG acts as a "fuse" for high and abnormal loads to protect the e-Gov loop and other systems of government agencies.
A large number of requests led to the blockage of e-Gov Internet traffic, which in its turn led to unavailability of the resources supported by NIT JSC.
It should be noted that implementation and launch of the portal were carried out by the Industrial Development Fund independently, with no consulting and infrastructure and technical support from NIT JSC.
The e-Gov services used on the portal for signing applications operated normally and did not affect the portal's performance.
The NIT JSC management extends its apologies to the e-Gov portal users for the temporary inconvenience caused. Thus, being an e-Gov Infrastructure Operator, the company expresses its readiness to assist in preventing similar situations at the next launch of concessional state programs.
