Achievements and awards
National Information Technologies JSC has acknowledgments and prizes both from domestic and international organizations for its efficient operation and implementation of socially important projects. The company regularly proves the services’ quality compliance with international standards while its projects consistently win international competitions.
In February 2024, the Digital Family Card project won in the Inclusive Digital Transformation category of GovTech Prize 2024 held at the World Governments Summit in Dubai.
The GovTech Prize is an initiative of the Emirates Government Service Excellence Program (EGSEP) established in 2014. The initiative aims to recognize the world government entities that adopt creative and innovative solutions to address pressing challenges and expand government experience in improving the quality of life.
National Information Technologies JSC has implemented international standards and received new international certificates:
1) ISO 9001:2015 – "Quality management system. Requirements",
2) ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 – "Information technology. Service Management",
3) ISO/IEC 27001:2022 "Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection. Information security management systems. Requirements"
All of the above standards are integrated.
The main elements:
- ISO 9001:2015 - requirements to business processes, definition, alignment, management, continuous improvement of internal business processes of the Company, their standardization.
- ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 - requirements to IT processes, monitoring, coordination, management and ensuring the smooth operation of 13 СCS processes that are the basis of an IT organization:
- service level management,
- budgeting and service accounting management,

- release and deployment management,

- ISO/IEC 27001:2022, advantages of the certificate:
- information security and compliance with all information security requirements involve ensuring confidentiality, accessibility, integrity of tangible and intangible assets of NITEC JSC,
- trust from the public sector, suppliers, customers, as well as NITEC JSC regulators.
- demonstration of information security management operating in the company to partners, competitors, clients, sponsors.
- the company's activities are stable and reliable.
- taking effective measures to ensure safety from real dangers.
- reduction of incidents occurrence and possible consequences thereof.
According to the official notification of Kazakhstani business rating, in nationwide rating of domestic companies in 2012-2013, the company occupied the 1st position (gold) in “Assets` and Liabilities` Indicators” nomination; 1st position (gold) as to the sum of four tax types (VAT, PIT, CIT and social tax); 2nd position (silver) in “Profitability Index” nomination, and also was awarded “Kazakhstani Industry Leader 2014” medal and “Industry Leader 2014” national certificate.
Based on the results of operation in 2013-2014, NIT occupied the 1st position in TOP-3 (gold) among companies of the RoK as to the sum of four tax types and the 1st position in TOP-5 (gold) among Kazakhstani companies in “Value Added Tax” criteria. Also, the company was awarded “Kazakhstani Industry Leader 2015” medal and “Industry Leader 2015” national certificate. The above results are the best ones in the industry.
EN 15838 certification is the most prestigious and professional system for acknowledgment of quality of services delivered to customers in call centers of any organization regardless of its business profile and call center`s size.
In 2015, Integrated Call Center underwent re-certification for compliance with ISO 20000 conducted by British Standards Institute (BSI). The standard involves detailed description of requirements to IT services` management system and stipulates liability for initiating, executing and maintaining processes in companies.
The Company`s Data Centers were chosen as the best project. The project named “Creation of Server Internet Platform for Delivery of Hosing Services to Government Agencies” got the first prize in “Information and Communication Infrastructure” category inWSIS Project Prizes 2016 in Genève, Switzerland. This proved the high quality of hosting services provided to government agencies, hardware hosting and infrastructure, software and hardware lease. The project that participated in the international competition is an infrastructure platform for e-Gov development.
In the competition, the “Open Data” project was nominated “WSIS Champion” as it obtained most votes and one of the best reviews from WSIS expert group; Integrated Call Center (1414) won in “ICT-Enabled Application: e-Gov” nomination.
In The World Government Summit which was held in Dubai in February 2017, mGov project was awarded First World Govtechineers Race-2017 for development and implementation of e-Gov mobile app. As it was mentioned by the summit hosts, the mobile app launched in 2014 managed to gain a reputation and prove efficiency for such a short period. Egov.kz mobile app was deployed on three platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Phone). Today, 83 services are available in it. Its objective is to create the mGov platform for service delivery to citizens via mobile communication.
Kazakhstani Integrated Call Center (1414) won Crystal Headset Award in “The Best Call Center in Government Agencies and Utility Sector” nomination being highly estimated by the jury. The Crystal Headset Award is one of the prestigious professional awards in the call center and customer service industry given to the best call centers since 2005. A nomination winner is chosen by the results of several stages and final voting of expert jury members.
At theWSIS Prizes-2017(World Summit on the Information Society contest), three projects from the Republic of Kazakhstan wereannounced champions: e-Government, Open Government, and Integrated Call Center 1414. In the prestigiousWSIS Prizes-2017, 345 projects of multiple countries worldwide were competing, of which 90 were adjudged champions by voting results and jury expert evaluation.
The contest was held in 18 categories. In the Open Government category, two projects were nominated: “Kazakhstan e-Government (eGov.kz)” and “Open Government (OpeneGov.kz)”, and in the “The role of public governance authorities and all stakeholders role in the promotion of ICTs for development” category - the “Integrated Call Center 1414” project.
