National Information Technologies informs of launching the service of submitting an e-application for vehicle registration on the eGov.kz.

It should be reminded that previously, to apply for this service, a vehicle seller and buyer had to visit a front-office (CSC, Special-purpose CSC) of “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation at the same time and with all the required documents in hand, which could be quite inconvenient. Now, citizens are able to submit applications online, without leaving house.

In what way was the procedure made easier?

A seller of a vehicle logs in on the portal, goes to the “Transport and Communications” section and selects the “Submitting e-application for vehicle registration”. Then he/she specifies the needed vehicle, fills in the fields and signs the request with digital.Note that the online service requires seller’s having fully paid all fines and taxes and passed through vehicle inspection.

After that, a vehicle buyer receives the message in the Personal Cabinet where he/she can view the application and link to the request itself.

In the event that a buyer agrees to perform the transaction, he/she makes the next step where the verification takes place to check whether there are unpaid fines and tax debts.

Then a buyer selects the place for receiving the official license plate and the form for fabrication thereof, makes payments (for issuance of official license plate, for fabrication of certificate of vehicle registration, and the registration fee) and then confirms the application signing it with his/her digital signature.

Also, at this stage, a buyer shall be able to select official license plate of either usual or higher demand type.

The confirmed application is forwarded to MIA of the RoK employees for processing.

Upon performance of the service, both seller and buyer receive notice of license plate, the vehicle registration act being ready for issuance, as well as the e-document of the deal.

For completing of the service delivery, the buyer needs to come to the “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation’s Special-purpose Citizen Service Center which was indicated at the time of processing. Operating the vehicle before the completion of registration process is prohibited.

It is worth mention that buyers will be able to order home delivery of license plate and documents for the vehicle to be bought, i.e. obtain these without visiting CSC/ To do so, the address for delivery should by indicated in the application, for KazPost courier to perform the delivery. Payment for to courier for delivery is to be performed by cash at the time of delivery.
