New service for the parents of exceptional children was transferred online thanks to integrations performed by National Information Technologies JSV (NIT JSC) under Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry. 

Now, parents of young athletes with special needs willing to study at  children`s and youth sports schools and physical culture schools for the disabled can submit documents for enrollment online via e-Gov Portal (eGov.kz).

All the applications are automatically sent for consideration to the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Previously, to get the service one had to visit the physical culture schools and submit an application along with the package of required documents. 

The following needs to be done to submit an application for enrollment:

- fill in an application at eGov.kz portal;

- select an athletic discipline and region where further education establishment is located;

- select a name of educational organization;

- enclose medical document № 031/у, and also а medical certificate issued by a local physician indicating admission to a selected athletic discipline;

- sign a request using digital signature or one-time SMS code. 

Upon successful processing of a request, a notification will be sent by a government agency to an applicant`s Personal Account. 

 “One of the priority areas for NIT JSC is extension and integration of public services to online format for the disabled. Thus, thanks to the integrations done, this year the disabled got a capability to buy railway tickets online and 8 more services have been transferred to online format ” told Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, NIT JSC.

In all, 26 services are available on e-Gov Portal for the disabled, including: provision of sign language specialist, provision of an individual assistant, health resort treatment, devices for the hearing-impaired and the vision-impaired, essential hygiene products, wheelchairs, prosthetic and orthopaedic appliances, etc.

Thus, today, 10 services are available on eGov.kz portal in the field of tourism and sports, including: assignment of athletic titles and categories, accreditation of local sports federations, payment of life-long monthly material support to athletes and coaches, etc.
