To obtain a certificate of no criminal record on the e-Government portal, one does not have to have digital signature. A Kazakhstan citizen will be able to obtain it using a one-time SMS password that will come to the service recipient’s mobile phone during authorization process on theegov.kz portal.

Obtaining a one-time password is possible in CSC, provided that your IIN is attached to your phone number. Also, to obtain such password, a citizen may sign on in the database of mGov mobile citizens on the e-Government portal.

The project has been implemented under the initiative of Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with General Prosecutor’s Office of the RoK.  It is worth noting that currently the effort is in progress on facilitating the processes of obtainment of other government agencies’ public services.
