In the updated version of the service, users of the eGov.kz portal can obtain a driving licence not only in the event of expiry, loss or theft, but also in the event of a change of surname, name or patronymic.

When changing a driving license, the user now has the option of using a photo from a previously obtained ID card or passport. The main requirement is that the document from which the photo was taken is not older than 3 years.

You can get the service in three clicks:

- log in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "Transportation and Communication" section;

- from the list of services, select "Obtainment of driving license" and fill-in all the required fields;

- sign the service using a digital signature.

You can view the service delivery result in your personal account. The notification is sent to the user within 60 or 120 minutes, depending on the service delivery option (online or offline).

The new service capability was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
