Nur-Sultan citizen became 10-millionth user of e-Gov.kz portal

National Information Technologies JSC informs of the registration of 10-milionth user of e-Gov Portal. It is Mereke Abishev, who applied to “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation to obtain a national ID for his 16-years old son. CSC employees familiarized M.Abishev with the ways of how to obtain services via eGov.kz. According to the user, he has already obtained an extract from pension fund and from now on he is going to obtain services via eGov.kz without attending “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation.

Asset Turyssov, Chairman of the Board, NIT JSC, congratulated the 10-milionth user of eGov.kz portal.

“It is a remarkable event for us. Ten-millionth user means that over 70% of Kazakhstani adults use e-Gov Portal. For NIT JSC team and for me personally this in an impetus to make even more efforts to enhance the Portal`s operation. I`d also like such a new services as eGov mobile and chat bots in social media to become as popular among Kazakhstani citizens”, Asset Turyssov told.

Also, he noted that automation of public services and promotion of eGov.kz portal among citizens is perfomed upon coordination of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the RoK and cooperation of “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation.

Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the RoK regularly monitors the statistics on the eGov.kz registered users. Over 8 000 Kazakhstani citizens join the Portal in average on a daily basis.

As it is noted by NIT JSC, active involvement of users has been observed for the last 6 months. It might be due to the enhanced processes of public service delivery and introduction of such convenient services as “proactive service for childbirth”, registration of vehicle online, etc.

On the meeting with Mereke Abishev, NIT JSC employees presented such new services as eGov mobile and Telegram, Facebook and Vkontakte chat bots. M.Abishev obtained several abstracts via EgovKzBot2.0 within a few minutes.

It should be reminded that eGov.kz Portal has 259 services and 95 tools. Using e-Gov Portal Kazakhstani citizens can not only obtain abstracts but also pay for fines online, view tax liabilities and so on.
