Now, civil servants and persons equated to them, as well as their spouses, can submit a declaration via eGov.kz portal and eGov Mobile app.

Step-by-step nationwide declaring has been introduced in 2021. In this regard, civil servants and persons equated to them, as well as their spouses, were the first to submit declarations. The individuals who submitted an assets and liabilities declaration in 2021 (form 250.00), should submit an asset and income declaration (form 270.00) starting from 2022 on an annual basis.

It is necessary to indicate information about the income received within a calendar year, tax deductions, acquisition or alienation of property, money in bank accounts at foreign banks located outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as property outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the second stage, starting from from January 1, 2023, an initial assets and liabilities declaration (form 250.00) is to be submitted by employees of state institutions and quasi-public sector entities and their spouses.

"The NITEC JSC team in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan implemented a new service for submitting an electronic application via the eGov.kz portal and eGov Mobile app. This is very convenient and saves employees' time, besides, deadline for submission online is later than in paper, which will help Kazakhstani citizens to fill-in a declaration in a timely manner", said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

Declaration submission terms:

- in case of submission on paper: no later than July 15, online: no later than September 15 of a year in which the liability to submit the declaration arose.

The service for submission of asset and income declaration for individuals is available on the eGov.kz portal in "For citizenry" - "Customs and Taxes" - "Taxation". A similar service is available in the eGov Mobile app in "Services" - "Special Services" section.

The declaration can also be submitted via the "Taxpayer's Office" (kgd.gov.kz ) and eSalyq Azamat mobile app.

The service was implemented thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
