Everything under control: you can submit declaration in form 270 via eGov.kz portal

The end of this week is the deadline for the submission of electronic assets and income declaration in Kazakhstan. Civil servants and persons equated as such, employees of budgetary organizations and quasi-public sector entities, as well as their spouses, can submit an assets and income declaration (form 270.00) via the eGov.kz portal.

The assets and income declaration in the form 270 is only provided after the citizen has submitted the initial assets and liabilities declaration (form 250.00). The declaration in the 270.00 form should be submitted by September 15 inclusive.

The declaration should reflect income taxable at source and availability of assets abroad (real estate, vehicles, shares in a foreign company, securities, digital assets, investment gold, derivative financial instruments and shares in housing construction).

Persons subject to the obligation to submit a declaration in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Corruption Control" shall provide information on the acquisition and (or) alienation of property, as well as on the sources covering the costs of acquisition of real estate and vehicles during the tax reporting period.

The service for submission of assets and income declaration for individuals is available on the eGov.kz portal in "For citizenry" - "Customs and Taxes" - "Taxation".

To get the service on the eGov.kz portal, users need to:

- Sign in on the Portal and click "Request Online" button;

- Fill-in the declaration form and select a relevant state revenue agency;

- Sign using a digital signature or a one-time SMS password;

- In your personal account (in the "History of Obtained Services" section), you can familiarize with a notification on acceptance or non-acceptance of tax reports by a state revenue authority online.

The declaration can also be submitted through the "Taxpayer's Office" (kgd.gov.kz) and via the eSalyq Azamat mobile application.

The service was implemented thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
