A new digital document – "UNT certificate" is available in the eGov Mobile application
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Information National Technologies JSC has introduced a new digital document in the eGov Mobile application: "Unified National Testing Certificate". Now, a citizen having a smartphone with the eGov Mobile application installed, can provide a digitized version of the document.
The Unified National Testing certificate contains data obtained from the NED information system (National Educational Database) on the scores received by test takers during the Unified National Testing for each subject. The digital certificate is signed with digital signature of the National Testing Center, which ensures its authenticity and reliability.
The application includes a wide range of UNT certificates, including assessment and calculation of scores for international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL. UNT certificates also differ depending on the successful completion of international standardized tests such as IB, ACT, SAT, A-Level, as well as for graduates of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School and candidates applying for paid tuition or participation in state educational programs.
"Digital documents have become an integral part of life for Kazakhstani citizens just recently, but convenience and user-friendliness have led to widespread use of digital documents. Following the needs of citizens, we are constantly expanding the list of digital documents. Thanks to successful cooperation with government agencies, we have added the UNT certificate to this list. This enables graduates providing a digital UNT certificate to a place of demand" said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.
To find the UNT certificate, one needs to:
- Log in to the app and click "Digital documents" on the homepage.
- Update the list of documents and the certificate will become available for familiarization.
It should be reminded that if a validity period of the UNT certificate expires, it will not be displayed in the list of digital documents. The certificate expires on December 31 of the year following its provision. A document owner can provide access to it using a QR code, which will help a party requesting the document to verify its authenticity.
A digital document is similar to an original copy of a document. Today, Digital Documents service contains 30 documents, including a national ID, a driving license, a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.
