Best young developers, engineers and robot technicians from all over Kazakhstan aged 16 to 25 were chosen atABC Hack'SS18 Hackathon.

The event took place in Nazarbayev University Technological Park on May 5-6, 2018. At the 24-hours marathon, over 160 participants, being divided into teams, continuously worked upon resolution of the tasks set by technological companies and market leaders.  

On the second day, 44 ready-made decisions were presented and after that, the jury chosen 8 winners ad 2 special prizes.  

“Our team set a task to implement vehicles safety information systems. Theguysmadeagreatwork. Following the results, the winner was chosen: «XXII» team consisted of two developers. The young people will get an opportunity to work in Integrated Solutions Department. I want to note thatNational Information Technologies JSC plans to provide further assistance to the events aimed at developing intellectual potential of Kazakhstani youth and supporting Kazakhstani IT startups“, Asset Turyssov, Chairman of the Board, NIT JSC, told.

ThehackathonprizepoolwasoverKZT 1 million. Also, paidinternshipswereofferedtoparticipantswiththebestresults. Moreover, contracts will be concluded with the winners, so they can continue work on the project and implement the solution.  

It should be reminded, that National Information Technologies JSC became one of the partners in hackathon hosted by Nazarbayev University Innovation Cluster.
