Starting today, Kazakhstani citizens can order VIP license plates for vehicles on the eGov.kz portal and eGov Mobile app. Ordinary license plates are not included in this category and still available in Specialized Citizen Service Centers.

The new service called "VIP license plates for vehicles" is available on the homepage of the eGov.kz portal in the "Services" section. The same service is also available in the eGov Mobile application on the homepage in the "Popular Services" section.

"Demand for "prestigious" license plates is growing each year. Previously, it was only possible to book such license plates in Specialized Citizen Service Center, whereas today citizens can order those through the eGov.kz portal and eGov Mobile app. By introducing the service in the digital format, we decrease the queues in Citizen Service Centers. As to Kazakhstani citizens, they have one more convenient tool to get the service" marked Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

To order a license plate, an applicant should:

- log in on the eGov.kz Portal;

- make a search for a license plate;

If a chosen license plate is owned by someone else, an applicant needs to search for another one.

If a license plate is available, the cost is displayed in MCI and in KZT.

• select a region, Citizen Service Center and license plate type;
• make a payment;
• sign a request.

The public service delivery result will be sent as a notification to a personal account on the eGov.kz portal.

A license plate can be picked up at a chosen Citizen Service Center.

It should be noted that ordinary license plates and VIP license plates can also be obtained in specialized Citizen Service Center.

The service was implemented thanks to the joint work of National Information Technologies JSC, State Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
