Online service for assignment/cancellation of real property address available on the eGov.kz portal

Now users can assign or cancel the real property address online on the eGov.kz portal. The service made it possible to automate the process without having to visit the Citizen Service Centers that previously issued the certificates.

The assignment of an address gives the real property object an official status, which is necessary to identify it in government databases. This information enables the property owners to dispose of it legally. The address is needed for the connection to the public utilities (electricity, water, gas), the internet, the delivery of mail and many other services.

The availability of an official address provides the owner with protection of property rights in the event of legal disputes, as the real estate object is entered in the Address Register. Without an address, it is also impossible to carry out subsequent property transactions - buying and selling, gifting, renting and other legal transactions.

The service is free-of-charge and available to both individuals and legal entities.

To get the service, the user needs to:

  • log in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "Real Estate" section - "Purchasing, selling, renting";
  • then, select the service "Assignment/cancellation of real property address";
  • sign the service using a DS.

The service delivery result is a notification letter on the assignment/cancellation of an address or a substantiated refusal, which will be displayed in the user's personal account. The status of the request will also be displayed in your personal account, along with the date the result was received.

The new service capability was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
