Kazakhstan and Tajikistan expand cooperation in the field of digital infrastructure
National Information Technologies JSC (NITEC) strengthens and expands cooperation in the field of digital infrastructure development in Tajikistan in collaboration with the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The cooperation between the parties became possible thanks to the previous agreements reached within the framework of the official visit of the head of state of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr Emomali Rahmon, to Kazakhstan in August 2023. After that, Kazakhstan started transferring IT solutions in the field of e-government to Tajikistan.
Tajikistan.Under the new agreements, the parties held a number of bilateral meetings and organized special training sessions for employees of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The NITEC specialists taught the colleagues from Tajikistan how to work with the single platform of government agencies` websites (EPIR GO). The platform operates on the one-stop shop principle and acts as a website constructor, allowing a government employee to independently create and update a website without any developer skills. It is worth noting that in Kazakhstan, over 3.000 websites of various government agencies operate based on EPIR GO platform.
The opportunity to conduct offline training allowed the specialists from both countries to work together on the platform and discuss all the issues arising in the process. As a result of the training, the Agency's employees have successfully started creating 5 websites of government agencies. The acquired skills will contribute to further adaptation and rapid integration of the proposed IT solutions.
Such bilateral cooperation boosts knowledge sharing, assists in the technical deployment of domestic IT products and promotes components of the Kazakhstani digital ecosystem in foreign markets as a whole.
Following the results of the training and bilateral meetings, the certificates were awarded to the colleagues from Tajikistan. Acting Chairman of the Board of NITEC D. Mun and Director of Certification Authorities, Public Services and Digital Software Development JSC A. Kodirov congratulated the participants on the successful training completion.
