Results of Kazakhstani IT solutions implementation into the digital ecosystem of Tajikistan presented in Dushanbe

The joint presentation of the results of Kazakhstani IT solutions implementation into the digital ecosystem of Tajikistan was held as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan. Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhasslan Madiyev and Director of the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Mirzo demonstrated to the heads of the two states the results of Unified Platform of Internet Resources of Government Agencies (EPIR GO) and Smart Bridge implementation.

The implementation of Kazakhstani IT solutions was carried out within the framework of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan signed in December 2023. The process of the Unified Platform of Internet Resources of Government Agencies (EPIR GO) implementation took less than a year. In 2024, NITEC specialists in cooperation with the colleagues from the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan deployed the EPIR GO and Smart Bridge components on the digital infrastructure of Tajikistan.

"Kazakhstan has achieved significant results in the field of digital management and the development of a human-centred digital ecosystem focused on user convenience. The export of EPIR GO and Smart Bridge components testifies to our digital maturity. We are glad to share our experience and hope that our solutions and developments will soon be used successfully in the international IT market", Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhasslan Madiyev highlighted during the presentation.

The Unified Platform of Internet Resources of Government Agencies (EPIR GO) is a website constructor that allows a government employee without developer skills to independently create a website and update information on it. To date, there are more than 3,300 different government agencies in Kazakhstan that have been created on the basis of EPIR GO. To ensure the successful implementation of this platform, NITEC held a number of training sessions for the colleagues from Tajikistan. As the result, colleagues from the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan have begun work on the first five government websites.

The Heads of States highly appreciated the results of the work done and expressed their readiness to support bilateral cooperation in the implementation of joint IT projects in the future. NITEC plans to arrange training on the deployment of the Smart Bridge information and communication platform and maintain contacts with the colleagues from Tajikistan for further experience sharing.

It should be reminded that today Kazakhstan holds high positions in international e-government rankings. According to the United Nations E-Government Survey, our country ranks 28th out of 193 countries in the UN Global E-Government Development Index, and 8th in the Quality of Online Services Index.
