Eight data correction services are available on the eGov.kz portal and eGov Mobile app. The services enable updating erroneous data in the information systems of government agencies and getting public services without any obstacles in the future.

It will be possible to correct data in case of finding out incorrect data about a family (marriage, birth, divorce, adoption, establishment of paternity, change of name/surname/patronymic, death), region in the vaccination passport, about erroneous information about vehicles, about pledge of movable property that is not subject to mandatory state registration and also update information about military service.

Information about name and location of a legal entity and real estate objects is also subject to updating.

Also, it is possible to correct information about education, in particular, update data about university diplomas, graduation certificate.

"As you know, data about a citizen, his/her apartment or vehicle is kept in various state databases of government agencies. Also, this data is available in the user's personal account in eGov.kz and eGov Mobile. There are individual cases when this data is incorrect, and as a consequence, it affects the possibility of obtaining public services. Now, in order to facilitate the procedure for citizens, in cooperation with government agencies we have designed 8 data correction services. For instance, if there is an incorrect data about a family or education, a citizen can apply, attach a photo of original document or other relevant information. An application will be processed and data will be corrected by a relevant government agency", said Rostislav Konyashkin, Chairman of the Board, National Information Technologies JSC.

To correct the data, it is necessary to fill-in the required fields, describe an issue, attach a copy of a document if necessary and sign the service. Also, "Correction services" are available on the homepage of eGov Mobile application.

The service delivery result is sent to the personal account in the form of a notification on data update or a substantiated refusal to deliver the service.
