The service for the collection, storage, processing and sale of scrap metals, as well as waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals has been automated on the elicense.kz portal for legal entities. Permits can be obtained by entrepreneurs throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The permit is issued within 15 working days. An entrepreneur can obtain a license from local executive bodies at the place of activities execution.

To get a permit, one needs to:

- sign in to the elicense.kz portal and go to the "Subsoil" section;

- select from the list of services "Issuance of a permit for the performance of activities for the collection (stockpiling), storage, processing and sale of scrap and waste of non-ferrous and ferrous metals by legal entities";

- fill-in all the necessary fields, upload files and make a payment of the state fee;

- sign the service using a DS/QR code.

If the decision of the government agency is positive, the issued license will be displayed in the personal account of the elicense.kz portal in the "Permits" module. If an application was rejected, a substantiated refusal is kept in "My applications" module.

The state fee in the amount of 10 MCI is to be paid for the issue of the permit. The payment is made in any second-tier bank to the address of the tax authority at the place where the legal entity is registered.

The new service capability was launched thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the Public Services Committee of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Information Technologies JSC.
